Light Review: The Nite Ize Tasklit L.E.D. Headlamp is an ultra-light, simple, durable and affordable light option. Weighing in at only 0.89oz including batteries you will quickly forget it is on your head. Although not giving a huge amount of light it is very well suited for giving illumination at arm's lenght for doing night tasks such as changing a flat tire or providing first aid. With an idiot proof UI you simply press the front of the 2 piece design in order to turn it on. Because there is no button (you press the front of the light) you can operate the light with gloves or even while you are holding something in your hand. At around 10$ (on E-bay) this Headlamp makes for an ideal addition to any Ultra-light Backpacking setup, first aid kit, Bob, or EDC bag. I have used this light several times over the last 18 months and have found it to be a great piece of gear.
